Pediatric Orthopedics AOSM provides state of the art care for the special needs of children, adolescents and their families. Our highly trained physicians are adept in the treatment of fractures and pediatric orthopedic-related diseases in children. We see kids in age from 1 to 18 years old who sustained injuries while at play or are faced with a more long term orthopaedic condition. At AOSM, we emphasize family-centered care and understand the importance of quickly returning children to their normal lives. We take the time to thoroughly explain the problem and potential treatment remedies and involve both parent and child in the decision making process. Common pediatric orthopedic conditions we treat are fractures, sports-related injuries, bone deformities, hip problems, leg-length differences, fractures, bone infections, scoliosis, clubfoot, Sever's disease, Osgood-Schlatter disease, little leaguers elbow/shoulder, knock knees, heel pain, and other congenital and developmental conditions.
We provide onsite x-ray and casting treatment for fractures, obviating the need for the lengthy and cumbersome emergency room wait.
